These folks saved me! On Sunday 8/7, I had car trouble driving from Burlington to Barre and just so happen to lose power steering right about the time Auto Craftsmen came in to sight. I managed to coast into their parking lot before the car died completely. Having never been here before for service, I had no idea what to expect but wrote a note about what happened on one of their envelopes, I put my key in it, slipped it into their "after hours" key slot, and crossed my fingers. I can't exaggerate how lucky I feel to have landed at this shop! Everyone I spoke to was helpful, friendly, understanding, and so kind. From the moment I received a call Monday morning to go over what I experienced while driving, through out the whole diagnosis, quote for repair, and actual completion of the repair - they kept me updated through emails & texts in a way I've never found at any repair shop any where. I honestly cannot recommend Auto Craftsmen enough!

The first time I talked to Grayson, I explained that I was looking for a local garage to service my 2015 Subaru Forester. I was searching for a garage that provided quality service and could be trusted to give an honest evaluation of my car’s needs going forward. The vehicle had reached close to 220, 000 miles and I felt less of a need to take it to the dealer that I purchased it from. I started with a vibration in my front end, suspecting an issue with missing wheel weights due to mud season. Grayson explained that the technicians would also give it the once over to become familiar with the car. On my second visit for an oil and filter change, the technician noticed that a universal joint on the drive shaft was beginning to fail. I had noticed a different rattle in the vehicle, but didn’t give it much thought, just another old age rattle. I was notified by Amy of my options for repair/replacement in a very detailed manner and was able to discuss with her the positives/negatives of each choice. The information she provided allowed me to make a thoughtful decision. The work was completed in a timely manner. Within one week I had put four hundred miles on the vehicle. I am always impressed at how responsive Amy and her team are, ease of getting an appointment, communication throughout the process to avoid nasty surprises. Their work is timely and high quality and their pricing is fair. Can't ask for more.

On a recent trip to Vt from VA, my 2013 Prius would not allow me to pump fuel into the gas tank. It automatically shut off when I tried to refuel. After the Toyota dealer quoted approximately $1000 to throw parts at replacing the evap system and a lot of research, I took it to Auto Craftsmen for a second opinion. Turns out, all the parts were functioning properly, they just needed a 'blow out" to clear them. They fixed the evap, put new tires on the car, replaced a light and other smaller things to get the car up to speed and the cost was half the Toyota dealers quote. They were so nice and accommodating every step of the way, I recommend them highly. As a matter of fact, I travel to Vt twice a year to visit my daughter and I think I will just schedule all my maintenance work on the car for while I am here?

When I drop off my car at Autocraftsmen, I really feel taken care of. Grayson, the office manager is open in communicating with me what my car needs. He recently told me that I was looking a big engine repair job, gave me an estimate of the cost, and a timeline of when it might be needed. He was also okay with me shopping around for the work. But having Autocraftsmen do the work is a no brainer, as there aren't too many fix-it shops that will give you a free loaner for the day so you can get to work, take kids to practice, etc., even if the repair job only takes an hour. The experience and professionalism of the staff are bar-none and that is why Autocraftsmen gets five full stars!

AutoCraftsmen found the trouble others could not! They worked with the insurance company and repairs were completed quickly with no surprises. Entire experience completed with refreshing levels of professionalism and communication!

90,000 mile tune-up, winter tire change, annual inspection: The people are just wonderful to work with. Always professional, always efficient.

A fantastic job solving the issue when no one else could. Also, they brought my car to a safe standard. The vehicle sounds and runs like new again. Great people to work with, very caring for sure.
