My experience with Chip Tremper and his AutoCraftsman business.... I am driving a ten year old Subaru Legacy between Essex Junction and Montpelier each day. The car is now just under 200,000 miles. Chip and the guys started taking care of it about five years ago when it was a relatively young 110,000 miler. I told him my goal was to get to 200,000 and then see where we are. The thing is running so well that when I picked it up after a tune-up last night we started to discuss the 250,000 mile plan. With these people's help I am driving a good, safe, dependable car for what is probably about five cents a mile now because I am getting such longevity out of this car. I don't know where else I could have found the combination of well qualified mechanics, customer-based advise and a fair price. Chip spends my money like it was his own. I know they spoil me, but I'll admit it, I like it! You won't go wrong if you start going there too.

Auto Craftsmen offers the best automobile service I have experienced in over 35 years of driving. Due to their expertise, my Toyota 4-Runner ran for over 200,000 miles. It was in great shape when I sold it. Workmanship is first class and planning and early diagnosis prevent major problems. My Lexus was just in for its 60,000 mile tune up. On it's first trip since then, I noticed that the car is running better than when it was new. These people are great for both low mileage and high mileage vehicles! Honest, Straightforward, comfortable atmosphere. I felt comfortable about asking any questions. I was not made to feel like any of my questions were silly.
